Re: Firefight for iPad
Any chances for an Android version? iPads are rather overpriced. I'll see what I can do, but the big attraction for me is that it's so convenient using App Stores rather than trying to sell games through sites like Plimus. I haven't looked into it much yet but there's a newish accelerated Windows gr...

Re: Is anyone still interested in this game?
Well, it is more realistic than most other games. Mr. O'Connor has done a good job researching armor thicknesses and angles, armor penetration of various weapons, the effects of troops quality and morale. Compare that to more expensive games like Command & Conquer and Starcraft. The only comparable...

Re: Panicked Enemy Rushing Your Lines
So ever have the perfect ambush set up with enemy troops advancing directly across an open field towards your line? It sounds like a perfect set up, but inevitably when your troops open up on them, they panic and a few start sprinting straight towards your lines. Now this shouldn't be a problem, as...

Hey, welk.
Armored Brigade (a freeware Real Time Simulation on similar level of command as Steel Panthers) is now moddable. I think it would be a much better platform for a post-WWII combat mod.
I'm making a Sci-Fi mod for it.

So... I have tried to play Command & Conquer Tiberian Su
Could someone explain me why people are playing that game and games similar to it? I mean, what exactly is fun about seeing rocket infantry put tens of rockets into a harvester to destroy it and stuff like that? What's the fun of having attack bikes and stealth tanks that can't do hit and run attack...

The Invincible Light Armour of Doom Problem
Ok. It's getting really annoying. I was playing the Chinese and I just got defeated by a single half-track. It didn't stop anywhere long enough to be hit by an arty strike, so I had to retreat. In Close Combat a half-track could be damaged with rifle/MG fire and could be destroyed with grenades. Her...
