They used something called a Spigot Mortar which had a range of about 91m. They also used something called a Northover Projector and a Smith Gun.
As well as A.W. bomb which was a bit like a molotov cocktail.

Just wondering if anyone would be able to do a 'What if' Home Guard mod for the game to simulate f the German invasion had been successful?

I see what you mean. Do enemy squads ever attempt flanking manoeuvres then when in defence or only in offence?

I also wish it was possible to spot enemy units before they spot you. I have on one occasion out flanked the opposition and been able to observe an enemy tank without him spotting me. I just wish it was possible, under the right circumstances, to see enemy troops if you are close enough and they hav...

Do the opposing forces patrol or are they simply placed on the map. I think it would be good if there were enemy patrols moving around the map trying to locate your forces.

I wouldn't mind a binocular function for the commander. Just to make it possible to do a quick recce before sending troops out and to make it possible to spot some units before sending out patrols etc.

My great grandad fought at Monte Cassino. He was in the Polish Second corps, in the Polish Warsaw 2nd Armored.
