The demo is actually quite hard because the ship you are allocated dies very very easily.
Once you buy the full game you can download or customise your own ships (with a lot more Command Centres) that won't die as easily.

All my maps have the continent scores shown in a mini-map in the top left corner.
I also have a (pre-graphical liiking pretty) version of the maps with all the location names on them.

Plug in AI

Sean would either have to permit the programmer of the AI to write totally unvetted code (that could contain a Virus or other nasty) which no-doubt people would blame Sean for (even though he didn't write the plug in - AI) OR Sean would have to write an interpreter for a (special) language that the ...

I made a load of startups that I thought Sean made available for download. I discovered it was too easy to recognise the startups from the bomb positions so I made two or three variations of each startup (nearly all other pieces in the same place) with just the flag moved about. That makes it much h...

It's standard for computers to round to minus infinity (10.9 gets rounded down to 10, -10.9 gets rounded down to -11).

Another machine crash. When I rebooted CM informed me that the Roll of Honour was corrupt and that all my (alive) commanders were deceased. I've lost them all again even ones I hadn't opened with CM today. Sean, I know you want to protect against people resurrecting commanders who have been killed b...

It's all in the ship design.
Once a ship has no missiles or no launches or loses a percentage of it's command centres it bails.

I always figured that hyperspacing, hyperspaced you BACK to a known destination (like the homeworld) and you had to fly through space to GET somewhere useful. Hence we fly about (and defend empty sectors) rather than just hyperspace everywhere.

If your AI prioritised the mission objective (and avoided being distracted by chaff) the opponent would too and it would be almost impossible to win a "protect the sitting duck" missions.

You would have problems of the asteroids becomming smaller and smaller until they were dust. At some point (similar to the asteroids game) they would have to be totally destroyed.

... and what is "the lobby feature"?
If it's multi-real player than I can't help you.
If it's standalone vs the PC I can Beta test.

Sean, Be wary of making a hard exclusion zone round your own flag. That makes it almost impossible to re-capture it if the enemy has it (and is transporting it back to their base). Some form of de-gradeding your troups after a period of time in proximity to your flag (and an equal time for it to wea...

The AI seems poor at predicting the course of asteroids so they bump into them often. And we all know what happens to sitting ducks.
