and you are a CPA? You add up the cost of the men in the territory in your head. Check that it is going to cost less than the territory earns plus dollars in the kitty. There are times when it is desirable to be cash flow negative. DarJones A guy comes and asks for advice and this is how you respon...

Re: Erasing units

I've definitely witnessed the AI erasing Barons/Knights. Ditto. I have seen this dozens of times (iPhone version). It has happened where the computer's territory has not been comprimised in any way. The computer's Baron is simply gone. In the case I am describing the barons do not starve. As all ot...

Thanks Sean. One more.... After a map is won , once the the "close" button appears, if you hit the iPhone Home button to exit, the map is not considered won. Sure it is easy to change my habits, but I normally close apps by hitting the home button and I am sure I am not the only one. P.S. Any commen...

iPhone version suggestions

Can you increase the size of the maps? Not the hexes, the sea zones, there are some maps where it is very difficult to place units in the upper left because the overlay map is in the way and you can't scroll far enough over. Also, In these same areas you can not see through the overlay well enought ...

This is strictly based on my observations of computer moves. The logic behind the computer not taking a continent and taking a continent away from you are both similar concepts. It seems to me the computer overvalues having a continent. If the computer player doesn't feel it can hold the continent, ...

Yeah, it's the bug. The computer player uses my territory(a) and my armies to attack another one of my territories(b). After it defeats my territory(b), it moves my armies from terrritory(a) to its new territory(b). These armies become the computer's. Its almost like the computer thinks that one of ...

Annoying bug (rather serious)

This happens very rarely (5 times in ~10,000 turns X 5 computer players). latest version. Basically ~1/10,000 computer turns. I receive an error message that reads something like: Attack own territory (!) or something, I don't have the exact wording down. It only has happened when I control a contin...

Not to easy.

Try random setup and random placement. This makes the first ten or so turns rather hairy. Alot of the time the set-up creates nearly un-winnable positions. The other aspect of the randomness is; it forces each game to be completely different, often times forcing you to change your style in order to ...
