Major Known Flaw in Firefight (otherwise great game)
LOL I've given up on complaining about this bug in the game. I don't move my antitank guns anymore. It's really a shame. However, in actual battle, guns are not very mobile without vehicles to tow them. Only the smallest guns (e.g. 2 pounders or 37mm guns) were truly infantry "portable." I just give...
Wish List Items
Great idea for a central wish list. Here are some old ones. The first two really annoy me. 1) Stop the trigger happy HQ Unit. These guys invariably are the first to fire and the first to die even when they are posted behind the front line of troops, especially if they are on a hill. This is complete...

Nice job on 4.0! A few bugs I've found
Hi Sean, 4.0 is a great improvement. You should update the ?latest version? post to let people know. It took me a while to figure out that the new game was available. I?d like to point out a few bugs and quibbles I?ve found after a few games: 1. Some tanks/vehicles don?t fire: a. French: i. H35 ii. ...

AWOL: Need new link for 3.99 beta
Hi Sean, I've been a bit tied up and haven't visited this site in a while. I was going to take a look at making the armor a bit more realistic (e.g. Shermans killing Panthers with ease is a bit far-fetched). My old link to your beta download doesn't work anymore. Do you have a new one for 3.99? Thanks

Italians 1944-45 on Allied Side
I don't think it would be historically accurate to have an allied Italian force. The Allies used the Italians largely as labor for logistics support for the allied forces. The terrain and the fighting (especially around Monte Cassino) often required mules and manual carrying of supplies and wounded....

Suggestions for Tank/Troop Data
Sean: Super game. A few requests for historical accuracy (some repeats from an earlier email): 1) The Italian tanks seemed to have the same 18 round ammo for their main gun error that the French Souma had before you fixed it. Kudos to Luca for the correct info on the M13/M14 47mm gun info. 2) It wou...

Thanks for the fixes -- How do I download newest version?
Thanks for the fixes. How do I download the newest version of firefight? I purchased the download protection but cannot figure out how to re-download the games ($44 for all games plus the extended download service). P.S. A couple more fix requests if possible, a system question, and a wish list requ...

Great Game Sean! Some suggestions for historical accuracy
Kudos to Sean for an awesome and addictive game. Love/Hate the morale factor when my men/tanks turn tail and run. Very realistic when the men refuse to advance under fire. Are there differences between nationalities (lower for Italian, French, chuckle....)? Hate the precise accuracy of the enemy mor...
