Re: Firefight for iPad
I'll see what I can do, but the big attraction for me is that it's so convenient using App Stores rather than trying to sell games through sites like Plimus. You should look into other distribution methods. I've bought stuff over Plimus before and I'd agree that it's also a bit complicated for cust...

Re: Firefight for iPad #2
Those pictures look awesome. You should really look into proposing the game to for example Three Moves Ahead/Quarter to Three for review, they've covered some iPad strategy games like Battle of the Bulge before. I hope those improvements also get introduced into the Windows version, and not only on ...

Re: Firefight for iPad
Yes, I'd really like to port it to Windows and that really won't be very hard with the way I write games these days. I'll look into getting it on the Windows App Store - which unfortunately is only available to Windows 8. That way I can charge a really low price for it like iPhone/iPad games are, a...

Re: Is anyone still interested in this game?
Armored Brigade - Armored Brigade differs from Firefight in that it has much more flexible size (platoon to brigade, maps are 2kmx2km to 15kmx15km), ability to zoom out and zoom in view, some special effects like turrets sometimes falling off, infantry units are presented as units with a specific a...

Re: Firefight for iPad
Sounds great! Please bring those changes to the Windows version as well. You could even sell that as a DLC. This game still is the only competitor to the Close Combat series (apart from Armored Brigade, which is freeware). You really need to build on that and give it a bigger audience. Since all Mat...

Absolutely. It should gain some more attention from strategy gamers.UberMoo wrote:I still play too and would love to see a further version released.
Re: Wish List
I'd like: - urban environments, because some of the most crucial battles in WWII were fought in cities (Stalingrad for example) - multiplayer (competetive and coop) - troops that gain experience and can be carried over into the next missions of a campaign - improved AI (the suggestions above regardi...

Re:
From what I gathered Sean seems to be getting into that whole 'App' market a bit now; might be just where the money is and also doing something new might just be more interesting than to keep tinkering with the old games all the time. Yeah, he's told me via Facebook that he's thinking of doing an i...
