Unfortunately the islands are different on Android and iOS! A friend of mine did the port to Android and I didn't spot that he got something slightly wrong which affected the island generation algorithm. I'm going to do an update to the Android version which will give it the same islands as iOS, and...

No it doesn't matter. You get the credit for killing the enemy ship, but it's OK to let the enemy pilot escape. You do get heavily penalised for killing your friendly pilots though, whether they were in their ship or in their escape pod.

At the moment the Android and iOS versions don't have multiplayer across different devices. I'm halfway through adding network play on iOS devices though so that's coming soon!

At the moment I'm working on porting the iOS version to Android, and getting it on the Windows Store too. The iOS version has had an update recently that let infantry begin the game mounted on halftracks, but I haven't had time to add that to the Steam version yet. Next I'd like to add Eastern Front...

Sorry about that! Is it the network games that are crashing? Or solo games?

I'm not sure there's much I can do about lost connections as that's something that is maintained by iOS via Bluetooth and your WiFi router and not by my app itself.

I have just released a small update for iOS which added some of the infantry squads starting mounted on your halftracks.

Next year I really want to get 9 Eastern front maps done, but that is a lot of work for me to do!

Sorry about that! To get things working on the iPhone X I had to flip the coordinate system I use so that (0,0) is now at the top left rather than at the bottom left. I thought I'd flipped all the maths in everything that is drawn but I missed that one out. I did release a new update a couple of day...

I've had a quick check pitting a single Jagdpanther against an enemy tank so the Jagdpanther had to turn to face the enemy before shooting and that seemed to work OK but I'll play through the Jagdpanther scenario and see if under actual combat situations there's a bug there. I guess in real life tho...

I did get back into Windows programming and I've ported the new versions of Firefight, Slay and Conquest (so far) back from iOS. I used Apple's own networking system which only allows connections to be made over a local WiFi network or using Bluetooth. In the future I'll look into using an internet wide system, but that will make discovering and connecting to devices a bit more complex.
