Re: Phone version?
I thought about porting my Capture The Flag game over to phones but I thought the game needs a larger screen to be able to play easily. I loved the old DOS version too! I would have added crawling to my version but the only reason I didn't is because there weren't any graphics available for that.

Re: Editor App
I'm really sorry but there isn't a way of creating your own map and getting it into the iOS version as iOS makes it pretty difficult to import user created files into an app.

Re: Firefight version 4.
Send me an email to sean@windowsgames.co.uk and I'll sort it out for you. Yes, version 5 was the last of the "old version" of Firefight before it got a total re-write and started using DirectX for faster graphics.

Re: How to mount vehicles?
I didn't add a way for infantry to re-mount vehicles. Partly because user interface space is always tight for squeezing in an extra button, and also I thought that once the battle had got underway mostly players would want the infantry to stay dismounted.

Re: Switching to MacOS
I had a go at porting my games to MacOS and had some luck but I struggled to figure out how to get them onto the Mac AppStore. I might have another try some time soon.

Re: Windows Version Does Not Highlight Valid Captures
The original old version of Windows Slay doesn't highlight the attackable hexagons with the red outline. I added that feature in the later versions on iOS, and that's the version I ported back to Windows which is now on Steam and the Windows Store too.

Re: Slay won't load : SDL mixer library could not initialize
I'm not sure why that happened, but when I just the other day submitted Slay to the Windows Store they rejected it with the same error, despite it working fine on my Windows 10 laptop. So, I altered the parameters I ask from the SDL mixer library and Microsoft has now accepted it onto the Store so I...

Re: Slay crashing every time on Android
Please accept my apologies for the lack of updates on Android Slay. The Android version was ported by a friend of mine and he hasn't got the free time anymore to keep it up to date on new devices. I have actually done a port of my latest iOS code to Android and it's all ready to go live, except it c...

Re: Critical Mass for iOS
Sorry things grind so slowly here! I did update Firefight and Conquest and put them on the Windows Store but sales aren't great there and I make the vast majority of my income from iPhone games so it's always hard to justify spending time on the Windows versions. I'm working on a new game (see https...

Re: Gauss on android
Unfortunately the islands are different on Android and iOS! A friend of mine did the port to Android and I didn't spot that he got something slightly wrong which affected the island generation algorithm. I'm going to do an update to the Android version which will give it the same islands as iOS, and...

Re: Enemy escape pods
No it doesn't matter. You get the credit for killing the enemy ship, but it's OK to let the enemy pilot escape. You do get heavily penalised for killing your friendly pilots though, whether they were in their ship or in their escape pod.

Sure, send me an email to sean@windowsgames.co.uk and I'll sort it out. At the moment I'm working on getting the iOS version up on the Windows Store. It's on Steam for Windows at the moment but not everyone uses Steam.

At the moment the Android and iOS versions don't have multiplayer across different devices. I'm halfway through adding network play on iOS devices though so that's coming soon!ajaymishra wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2018 11:51 amDoes the Slay game with a multiplayer option supports android and ios operating systems?

Re: Plans for firefight
At the moment I'm working on porting the iOS version to Android, and getting it on the Windows Store too. The iOS version has had an update recently that let infantry begin the game mounted on halftracks, but I haven't had time to add that to the Steam version yet. Next I'd like to add Eastern Front...
