Typo!

I said:
the penetration for a 'generic' ATR should be around 33mm/30degree at 100m and 15mm/30degree slope at 100m
But it should read:

the penetration for a 'generic' ATR should be around 33mm/30degree at 100m and 15mm/0degree slope at 300m

Cheers.

Hi Sean, Glad ATRs have been added for the early stuff - for which I have ATR teams on the drawing boards (for almost all nations). The US Marine Corps used these throughout the war (even after they'd received bazookas) to penetrate Japanese armour as did the Soviets on the Eastern Front (they had p...

Hi Sean, I noticed in another thread that you are thinking of creating a different 'nationality' for US Marines. Can I pitch my two penneth in for not doing that. Most US ground troops engaged with the Japanese were US Army, not USMC and in many cases the USMC relied on having the army guys around b...

Andy's absolutely right on the NZ flag (sorry to all Kiwis). Eagle-eyed too, that star is tiny. Thanks Andy. I'll send out a correction with some more Far East vehicles and a much better set of US Marine Corps section organisations that I've been working on. I've also discovered some typos here and ...

Thanks Sean,

I think modifiable cards and army graphics could add a little more 'flavour' to the variant maps.

Cheers.

Modifying (questions for Sean - or anyone who can help)

Hi Sean, I'm currently trying to do a Japanese Shogun period version. I can't say I yet totally understand the data files for the maps (is there any info on how one defines connections between provinces?) I can undestand how to change sounds to stick in some Japanese fanfares, etc. so no problems th...

I've added a Japanese Type 2 Ka-Mi amphibious tank for the period when they were the ones storming the beaches.

Rotated hull sprites, turret sprites and masks for both, selection picture, data file and new shell data are at the bottom of my web page http://www.sforza.150m.com

Cheers.

No problems Sean. Glad the thing downloaded! Things automatically evaporate on iHud after 30 days if not accessed. If ever you need a re-post of something then just ask. If you ever need any graphics and are up against it then drop me a line. I'll see what I can do - family and work permitting of co...

OK. New uploading done on the zip file (4 copies). I've been able to download each copy, so if you get a 404 it's a sign that the server is busy.

Could we close this topic 'Japanese troops???' and transfer all communication to the 'Pacific War' topic.

Cheers.

Yes, Quitch, I saw your earlier messages on flamethrowers and have tried them. Great fun they are too! But, seriously, that's really my point. FTs are offensive weapons and not likely to be around in a defensive situation so we're combating one unreal situation with another. It's also the issue of p...

Close Assaulting Tanks...

After yet another defensive scenario, where a lone tank launches without infantry support itself at the objective (in a wood no less!) Then sits there claiming squatters rights, I, again, start thinking that something has to be done to make the AI in this area conform more with reality. I have to sa...
