Howdy, All!
Haven't been to the forum in ages, and just thought I would say Howdy to everybody
I also see that Sean has released some updates for a lot of the games, I can't wait to check those out.

As a journalist I know most facts about the "writing rules and laws". Copyright laws, as they pertain to literary works are quite different from copyright laws that pertain to software. No one can stop you if you are going to write another chess, go or backgammon game and sell it Correct, although ...

http://www.intellectual-property.gov.uk If you go to that link, it says: "Copyright could also protect the rules, but only the expression of the rules [documentation], not the ideas behind them [ruleset]" "Schemes, rules or methods for playing a game are specifically excluded from patenting." Changing the graphics of my game doesn't alter the FACT that you copied it in the first place. There are no laws stopping somebody from copying a ruleset for a game. Under International Copyright law, you cannot copyright the ruleset to a game, you cannot copyright an idea and you cannot copyright ...

Copyright is automatic for an original board-game! On planet Earth and under International Copyright law, you cannot copyright an idea, title or ruleset to a game. You can only copyright artwork, box design and documentation. There are thousands of Risk and Stratego clones out there for the compute...

I have held back until Sean publicly posted, so no more Mr. nice guy... I'm pleased to read that. I am pleased to read it too. That means that a lawyer in the UK who specializes in Copyright law agrees with ME. You ARE wrong. So now you ADMIT you were infringing my copyright? Which brings us back to...
