The Steels seem to be the fastest team, and are able to pass the ball almost immediately after receiving it. With the Mammoths, they seem to have a knack for getting downfield and in a better position better than most. I totally agree! The Mammoths' offensive power seems to be levelled out by their...

What do you think about this Sean? Why don't you just offer to sell every new game that you develop after a person buys the package for $5 each, since that is generally what you pay on average for each game when buying the package? (I realize that the addition of Niggle makes the $40 split between n...

No, ichbinsehselbar is completely right. It has been talked about before and ich has figured out the exact same numbers. His stats at the top are right and his equation is correct as well.

You get exactly 20 credits for each promotion. This adds to whatever number of credits you got for the mission you got your promotion in.

The slowness of the yataris has actually come in handy sometimes. The enemy is in front of you, quite close but just off to the side. Plectrons will definitely not hit him, and other homing missiles are so fast that they will accelerate past the enemy before being able to turn enough to hit him. How...

Do you mean lose as in you die, or lose as in you have to eject, hyperspace, etc. and fail the mission?

Drachens are terrible in my opinion, slow, terrible at turning, and just not good. What are you talking about? Drachans have the best thrust (180) and turning (60) of any missile except the daycorns (200, 70). Their speed and turning is very good, just slightly worse than the daycorns. I actually p...

the idea is very good, yet I'm afraid too many players would abuse it, especially if new to the game... my solution is: the test mode could be limited to the maximum number of credits you ever earned with a commander (being it dead or still alive). so, if your 300-missions commander just died (or i...

What type of missiles do you use?

I've been messing around with ship designs for a while and I'm wondering what type of missile spread you guys use in your designs. Currently I'm my higher end ships are using at least a row or more plectrons wind some daycorns and yataris added in. Sometimes I substitute geenees for the daycorns, si...

I might have just been a glitch. They happened occasionally in the game witht the missiles. Like missiles super speeding up for some reason and stuff.

Eventually though, you run out of things to upgrade on your ships. Then you have nothing to do but super shield every side. :)

Later in the game Dreadnoughts are my favorites because of their crazy firepower, good armor, and maneuverability. I also like to use Phantoms because of their deadly combination of firepower and stealth. Their lack of turning can get annyong though. Earlier on though, the Eagle class is my favorite...
