I like plan B. That make good sense and would be neat. I would also be nice if the ships were classed. Fighter, Bomber, and multirole. The multirole ships could be the ones that allow for full customization of the loadout. The others could work perhaps the pods idea you described. But there would ha...

I have dicovered that for me, ships with very high stealth, modest turn rate, lighter shields, and high thrust work for me. Also, im my custom fleet of stealth ships, I have at least 5 forward radar. The bigger ones have 6. I prefer this configuration because most ships have a serious problem detect...

Yea I think that the ships should be able to have SOME of their loadout editable, but not the whole thing. I think A bomber should be able to swap maybe one or two bundles of plectrons for daycorns or whatever if they are going into a mission where there is a high amount of defending ships. Or vice ...

I was doing a mission completely by myself because if I cant have my own stealth ships as my wingmen, I dont get anything. Luckily it was only a patrol mission. I was flying straight in stealth destroyer. Then I saw the enemy squad heading straight for me. They have no idea im there and im pointed s...

It would be really neat if the critical mass universe was integrated in a way that makes starbases and all other ships useful by an economy kind of thing where if you left one setor you go into another one. Some sectors may be barren and empty while others may have planets an starbases and stuff. Yo...

War isnt about making sure your soldiers are ebing challenged enough. Its about winning with as little casualties as possible and a star empire shouldnt ignore a technology that is so simple yet can save so many pilots. I think there are more ways to make Critical Mass more challenging and strategic...

Self destruct for missiles
picture this situation: you are flying a small ship and you need to destoy a Super turret. Attacking it from the front isnt even an option. So you manuever your ship to its rear and fire off a plectron. However, one of your much more powerful wing ships has fired a yatari and 4 plectrons at the thin...

Commander Mclauren: KIA : Mission 155 :Success ratio 99% : Kills 639 Cause of Death Freindly Freaking fire from a wingman firing at a factory he couldnt even see! Funny how these guys will fire 4 plectrons at a factory half way across the sector and miss by a longshot, yet sometimes they have them p...

I just tend to name them for their intended purpose. I made an entire group of stealth ships that are black. So I have a Support Stealth, A Light Stealth, Some other one I cant recall at the moment, A stealth fighter, a heavy stealth, a stealth frigate (which bears no resemblence appearance or setup...
