Thanks Sean, I appreciate your help!
Is there any update on the status of a new Slay?
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but have you ever considered adding water elements to the game, like boats upgradeable to ships, or maybe a random hurricane every once in a while?

Re: Router problems
Hmmm, I don't know what's going on here. I went to www.whatismyipaddress.com and it gave me an ip address. However, when I use a cmd prompt and then ipconfig, it give me a different ip address. So then I restart Slay, but it still doesn't work. The ip address listed in Slay is always the one returne...

If you have dynamic IP address you must restart Slay after your IP address changes. Check your current IP address on site like http://whatismyip.com and compare with "your IP address" in Slay. If they differ - restart Slay. Thanks for the help. Yes, my IP address was different than the one in Slay....

Router AND Server problems...
Well, I finally found out how to open a port on my router and did that. It still doesn't work. I still get the error message saying data needs to be passed through to my computer on port 4873, in order for others to be able to connect to my game in a network game. I WAS able to connect to the main s...

Router port problem
I keep trying to play a network game...I choose "New Network Game" and then click on "Start Game". Then I get an error message saying I'm playing behind a router and I need to open port 4873, or pass data through port 4873 or something like that. I do use a wireless router but I don't know a thing a...

Beta testers
Thanks for emailing all past customers, Sean.....about two weeks ago I had to re-format my new computer and re-install everything......TWICE!!! What a bummer. Anyway, I lost all my email, confirmations, receipts, etc......I nearly cried when it happened. But not as much as my wife, who lost a LOT of...

My 2 cents: Use the fact that the computer AI is really very stupid. When it is going to attack you you could force all his army in a pocket and then close around. For example if there is one vertical border between you, put a knight somewhere in the north and leave south unprotected - the computer...

Pocket Slay maps
So THAT's why I can't get them to work......
Just kidding. Thanks for the help anyway......
I hope you might consider adding user-created maps for PocketSlay in a future upgrade.......
Thanks again!

Pocket Slay maps
Well, this is really getting strange....I just checked the version of PocketSlay on my Pocket PC, it says it's version 2.0! Is it possible it didn't install correctly? But I've been playing it ever since I purchased it! If I need to re-install, how do I save my progress, I don't want to start over. ...

Yes, all the maps are at: http://www.windowsgames.co.uk/conquest_maps.html Sean, I downloaded these, but on my Pocket PC, there is no Maps folder inside my PocketSlay folder.....I created a new folder called "Maps" and unzipped these map files into it. But when I play Pocket Slay, I can't find a wa...
