Well it actually wasn't using 8 bit it was using 8 color, so each file I change I just first save it in like 16 bit form or whatever and then start editing. It's useful because a lot of the older tanks and men are in few colors whereas the newer ones use many colors. So I change old ones to make the...

Wasn't attacking you mate. Just trying to point out that every man and his dog has an opinion about "realism" and none of them are the same. You're right to note that providing player-selectable options IS one way of dealing with this. I guess that's the game designer's call on a feature-by-feature...

Infantry graphics (Resolved)
As it is the infantry are colored with only 8 colors, I don't seem to be able to use any other colors, anything I can do about this? The tanks and terrain use much more colors so it makes me wonder.

The point is that you wouldn't remove suppression you just have it not last quite as long, I think the game would still feel pretty realistic. The same with visibility, one of the best things about firefight is the ability to sneak and it should stay this way just a little better sight would be nice...

I was suggesting a simple option, if you like the game best the way it is then you could just not use that option and play the way you have always played. The current method of suppression is modeled exactly right! Too often, we want to hurry through the game, rushing our men up and over the enemy in a shoot-'em up type action!
