Ive lost track, ok, :?: Who is Brice? Why did Sean switch from island to space? Thankyou. Brice is a forum dweller who claims to be a retired games designer (who is only 36?! Git :)) The switch to a space theme is, as I understand it, to avoid the copyright placed on the Escape from Atlantis art.

In-game updating

Sean, don't you think its time to consider having some method of in-game updating for people to get new versions? I recently mailed you to get the latest versions of all the games, and ended up getting End of Atlantis... for free! I've never paid for it (the bundle was somewhat different back when I...

But if Very Hard is the hardest it gets, then it needs to challenge the very best. If there are people out there who can win Very Hard defences, then it's not too hard, you're just playing at the wrong level. I don't see what the problem is in that case. Question is, are people winning Very Hard def...

This is why you use infantry for spotting... but anti-tank goods should have LOS as good as any infantry. Tanks don't stop, that I've seen. They simply slam the tank into reverse (which is exactly what tank crews do I believe, since the idea is if the gun has started firing, you've just entered its ...

There was a little copyright tussle recently when the inventor of the boardgame came to play. We're guessing the new space version is the compromise arrived at by Sean and the creator.

I'd kill for some fresh objectives.

No to minefields I think. It would ruin the dynamic.

There's a topic on the Critical Mass forum about mines. He's referring to that.

If you watch the games you'll notice it doesn't work like that, teams often play each other several times while other teams never meet.

If I force a gun to fire and have my mouse over an enemy unit, does the gun target the unit or the point?

With regards to British paras (18 credits) vs. standard infantry (12 credits) I assume the difference is moral (as the weapon load outs are identical), but I can't say as I've seen any difference. I chose a unit of paras to give them a try, but they seemed to break the same as anyone else. More exte...

Yes, and if it's not safe they retreat, but until then they go where the Commander orders them to go. If I'm wrong, people die, but I'm not getting to find out. Getting a decent LOS from a hill is nigh on impossible, and being selective so that people have an LOS in one direction while being protect...
