The problem is that the flotillas are a fixed and hard coded set of data. This is not the first time this general possibility has...

Some way to see the map before you download it (shift it to the correct directory and unzip it) or at the very least a ranking system could prove very popular. You can already do this from Sean's page, just click on the http://www.windowsgames.co.uk/images/conquest.gif image. The only thing ...

I remember you saying something about using a "hex editor" to alter the game. Could you recommend a program to do just that? I myself use Hex Workshop, but it's not free. However, there are lots of free hex editors, just google around and download some programs, try them and leave the one you prefe...

C# is the main language for .Net development. Syntactically it is similar to C or Java (lots of curly brackets and words like new and [/i]int[/i]). The main difference from C++ is that, like Java, there are no pointers and things are garbage-collected for you. So doesn't the "#" actually mean that ...

Neither did I, and I myself found it unusual! Yet, the free license has 1-year duration... :( I also have "Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0". A friend of mine gave it to me as a gift yet I have also never used it  ! I suppose I am a tad bit scared to use it. It not only out-powers anything I ha...

What about a random mission generator?
I'm quite sure no one has ever posted anything about this, correct me if I'm wrong.
That's just a thing that came to my mind tomorrow: wouldn't it be cool to be able to play random missions? Maybe with a difficulty level based on the level of the playing commander?
