The proposed rewrite of Slay

I notice that Sean is mulling a rewrite of Slay. As a long time player of the game (since 1998) I would like to propose one small change to the program. He's doing all right, not much time for games as he's got a "squeeze" and might be losing his job soon. He's still up there in the PNW. I'm still mucking about in cults - out on the East Coast now. Haven't used Yahoo in years. We should organize some old-timer rematches. Teach the kids some tricks.

Make a skin that is Roman soldiers. Legionary, centurion, general, emperor.

Make a skin that is vehicles: unicycle, motorbike, car, truck.

Make a skin that is animals: worm, bird, lizard, lion (or something). Or fish: from little fish to whale.

The Medieval skin is the best. Most player-created skins are difficult to read: it's very hard to tell which piece is stronger and which weaker. They look cool but are for the most part unplayable. If you are designing new skins please have them playtested for readability.

You just autoplay the other sides. That's all. It's not a very accurate simulation of the Second World War.
