I have no idea what your code looks like, but I figured that. My thought was that, since your graphics engine uses those triangle segments, maybe it renders part of a missile and that part is too small to see, but big enough to be recognized by the engine upon impact. And structures(space stations, fuel depots, etc)...

It'd add more scale to the game, since the warheads imply the ships are massive, like small planets, but their handling is, well, amazing.

I have had that happen on my Massive War Custom map, where there are too many objects, and I assume it makes all or part of a missile disappear so I don't see it.

My project is sort of a turn based strategy game from a platform perspective. If you can't picture what I mean, then you'll justh ave to wait and see if I actually finish it, because I'm known for dropping projects when I get bored with them.
