Surely the simple solution is to avoid catching the ball and then tackle the AI who does. In your example, C, instead of catching it, backs off slightly, letting B catch it, then runs in tackles him and has a clear run for the line. And if your having problems with the auto-catch, where the Dino aut...

The argument is that air units can be used in ground operations as well as sea operations, so there are effectively 3 ground units, and paras which are effectively highly mobile armies. The ships are good because they make sea battles very strategic, where as land battles are about overwhelming an o...

Well if i'm not mistaken, the original CM (and version 2?) had a ship that looked exactly like the enterprise. Beyond that I see little resemblence to Star trek... I never get to land on the enemy planet, find some hot alien babes and have a fight to the death in 'the circle of doom' with the enemy ...

Well it wouldn't have the same effect if he was a really nice, kind and caring bloke and she went off with Capreo, because he was young and handsome.

I think the movie popularity would sink as fast as the ship did.

Someone trying to sabotage the games perhaps? I wonder if he's any relation to the guy who posted about wanting a refund for firefight? On a slightly related note, my virus scanners always going crazy about Master of Magic, a fantastic dos game i've got. It just doesn't recognise the file types! I c...

It always seems to me that the enemey warriors can often out turn a daycorn, even though given a pretty similar situation, my ship, with a far superior turn of 76, often can't. Probably something to do with range etc. Up close daycorns tend to miss, I tend to be right behind an enemy as my ship take...

If you hyperspace, I can understand the wing doing it, particularly if you ordered them to 'do or die' then ran away when you lost all your armour. But if you eject or fight to the death, they should also fight until ejecting or death on defence missions where you order them to 'do or die'. In other...

I can never resist the urge to kill as many enemy as possible. I don't know the figures, but gold crosses give you LOADS of credits (in comparison to no medal). So maximise your gold crosses and you can upgrade faster. I know you need a certain number of kills or something to go up ranks, I'm guessi...

Twice a week is too frequent, defiantly for me anyway. Considering that a commander could survive for many missions, maybe up to 60 or beyond. 5 minutes per mission makes that 300 minutes or 5 hours. (of course, he could die mission one! Making it take 2-5 minutes! :D) Its taken me months on and off...

Sounds like a good idea! It would be interesting to see how risk takers compare to the cautious. Of course being cautious is always best in the first few missions, once you've got some armour on you, then you can start to take some risks. Each week I could try a new style of fighting and see how bad...

No way! Charge into the centre of the battle and slaughter all who stand before you! Knowing the colours of the baddies, you could focus your attention on the stronger of the two enemy fleets, like a cunning tatical genius!

I brought CM on its own, I found a really old version 1 demo ages ago on a '1000 games for windows CD'. I was imidiately addicted! It took me a while to decide it would be worth forking out $20 for it, but eventually I did, and then I recieved version 3, it having just been released, unknown to me a...

well currently you can customise colours in the ship editor...

Wouldn't black ships be mostly invisible

Maybe the problem could also be solved by maiking the blue more 'blue' rather than cyan.
