I have a suggestion for the problem with being difficult to read the number of days an island has been beaten in. Try switching the name of the island with the number of days. In other words, put the island name on top and days on bottom. Yellow and green give pretty good contrast so it should work....

Another item I've noticed, when you beat an island, the number of days is placed in small white print on the island. The white letters are VERY hard to distinguish. Could you try black letters and/or other colors to see if something will give better contrast?

I ran through it once to see how it plays and found a few quibbles about contrast and about moving men. I spotted the changes to the AI very quickly. Give me a few days to see how some specific games play out and I'll post something about it.

That one is a real beauty. It is indeed #344. The very best I've done is 23 days to win. You have to be a glutton for punishment because it requires deliberately sacrificing a few men along the way.
