For turrets, I tend to have ships with a lot of forward radar and hit them with Oriks or Plecs from where I can see them but they can't see me.

(x/y) = (m/x) - c - d
y = x/( (m/x) - c - d ) = x?/(m - x(c+d) )

Can't be bothered with the sum right now.

I've done a little Javascript ? just little bits of active web stuff, nothing big. It is probably a good place to start because it doesn't have all the type declarations and stuff that are a bit confusing when you start out. I'm sure there are good online tutorials and so on; Google is probably your...

Wow, that's one tough hull!

I've just played a Destroy Coloniser mission, and in traditional fashion the Coloniser itself ended up left till last. The damn thing took 15 hits to die! (Although I suppose I should be glad I found the little bugger this time ...)

I've seen something like that dragon before. It's a very cool piece of fooling the mind, though. And a knowledge question for you, to get back on track: In the 1999 Champions' League final, Solskjaer and Sheringham scored two goals in a dramatic last five minutes to win it for Manchester Utd, in one...

I think sometimes they get their distances wrong. Sometimes they abandon marking a dino in the endzone when the one with the ball would definitely be caught by a defender chasing him back.

Mostly agreed with these, but not the one about the playoff. The top team should always go up, and since the divisions are so small they have to be one-up-one-down then playoffs are a silly idea.

And the fixture list should be fixed so each team plays each team once!

Ok, what about some pre-calculus? If f(x) = 3x(squared dammit) + 2x + 1, what is the derivative (f'(x))? And what is a derivative anyway? Squared symbol, ?, is Alt+0178. And, for future reference, the cube symbol is 0179. The answer is 6x+2. And a derivative is pretty much "the instantaneous change...

This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you...
