The whole package for $ 40 is a fantastic deal. I have spent numerous hours playing some Conquest and mostly Slay. What I appreciate is the availability of so many maps so it's always a new challenge. Another very nice aspect is to change the number of players or to choose a different level of play ...

All the AI differences (at the various levels) are clearly explained in the "instructions" which you find in the help file.

Be careful .. this game is addictive.

Re: Whats the best island you have played in version 4.2?

I'll just post a couple that are really interesting in terms of the logistics of winning. #64 is the hardest Island. I beat it in 27 days. #383 is a really good one to play. I beat this one in 18 days. Fusion Wow, I feel really proud, I must have made tons of progress at this game : Island 64, very...

Under this topic, someone implies you could play over a local network with only one license. I do not have a network but if I had one and invited a friend to try out the game against each other very occasionally, I would find it harsh that I would need 2 licenses for that. There should be a possibil...

No license number

Hi, I purchased all games on 26th Aug. 04 At the time, I did not bother about finding and entering my license number. Now I wish to try a network game but the program needs a license number, which I cannot find anywhere on the invoice/receipt (1093479254-695-828168) Can you pls tell me where to look...

Thanks Crush ! I had downloaded all sorts of maps. Then I deleted some because of bad graphics. Recently, I played Pyramid which (by Yourself I believe ...) and beat it easily. Some years ago, I purchased "Mission Risk" and I must say it still gives me pleasure to play it because it seems more 'inte...

Can we not attack from several territories simultaneously ?

I have not managed this. In other "risk" type games, it is possible. Any thoughts on the subject ?

It is too easy to win

I have the latest version 3.b I find the game too easy to win. I always play "very clever" and I have yet to lose a game. Surely, this is abnormal ....(?) One thing wich seems to lose the game for the puters : It attacks every single turn. And almost always it seems to choose the easiest position to...

Fusion_power : Thank you so much for sharing your maps demonstrating your winning strategy. Let me confess : I viewed and reviewed them. Again and again. But to no avail. When I try to implement on my own your ingenius strategy, I fail miserably. So .. what else can I say ? You are a very clever coo...

If you will send me a message with an email address I'll mail you the .SLY files that show how to play "maximum" and win 1 vs 1 and computer goes first and on very clever. It took 8 days which is longer than I expected. My only excuse is that my solution was not even near optimum. I cited my email ...

Re: 1 VS 1

okay ive tried it now with going second so far i can't win the best i've lasted is 9 days so far... my only response to that is the game sean intended was that you play on islands NOT the whole map filled in with land. and again i suggest that if you play with less then 3-4 players your just gonna ...

Please clarify : are you saying you win when you go first or when you are second to play ? (in a 1 v 1 game) M...

I played about 100 games using the "auto-move" function for speed. When the puter is "clever" or "very clever" AND goes first, there is no way at all to win. On my first turn, it's not possible to cut him off in enough places to kill a large number of its peasants let alone its spearmen. On its seco...
