I am pretty impressed by this game.. any chance you can transport it a Pocket PC? Or is there a chance that there is a Pocket PC version coming?

Thanks, Bil

Unfortunately I think that a Pocket PC screen (even a VGA one) would be just too small to be able to play the game on.

I would be more than happy to be a BETA tester for such a game to determine feasibility.

Sean, I just mocked up what I expect it would look like... you could replace the individual soldier sprites with a NATO type symbol for the entire section/squad... you also could allow some orders from the Jump map screen, like artillery targeting, movement, etc.

I created these with the thought that it would be limited to the 640x480 screen size.

Best, Bil

Well, it sure looks pretty...

Would a pocket PC have the raw processing power and memory to run Firefight though?

Good question... but there is a 3D version of Call of Duty http://www.clickgamer.com/moreinfo.htm?pid=8528&b=MOZONGO so why not?

BTW, this is a mockup ofr a 320x240 version, with NATO symbols replacing the sprites... still readable.

I would say a pocket pc version of firefight would be feakin awsome for my PDA. :P

The fake image with the symbols instead of actual soldiers would be more practical as trying to select tiny soldiers with my stick...

maybe if you added a symbol that would hover over the soldiers to select, that would be even better, but i think tanks would be big enough to select right???????????
