Hi

I'm completely new but really interested in pacific war island us marine amphibious scenario.

Does version 4 cover this? Is it flexible enough to modify because this is the main theatre i am interested in. For example will I be able to change the island map etc.

Sorry if all this sounds very newbie but I have only just come across firefight.

The games does feature Marines, LVTs, Japanese, etc, along with Jungle terrain, but you cannot modify the maps, and there aren't any "hit the beach" type scenarios, so all the fighting would be inland. Also, the Pacific terrain is only "jungle," so the flat open terrain you'd sometimes have on atolls or islands is lacking, though I suppose you could choose to fight those battles in "desert" terrain to replicate Iwo Jima or something.
