Hi Andy,

Sorry I've been a bit quiet on progress updates - I've just been working too hard! I think I'm only weeks away now from a first release. I've been slowed up by adding new ideas (like zooming in, shrapnel flying off in explosions, tanks don't brew up immediately, crewmen in an anti-tank gun or mortar team move individually to load and aim the weapon etc...) and getting more in the first release than I originally planned.

Here's a screenshot of what it looks like when you do a pinch zoom in:

The Panther is shooting its co-axial machine gun and at this level of zooming in you can see the MG is accurately positioned just a few centimetres to the right of the main gun.

Well, I'm still not into those iThingys but I do now own a Win 8 laptop so I'm anticipating the eventual release of a Windows version with more confidence.

I'm not sure about the features you mention above as they all seem cosmetic to me but if that's what it takes to wring out a few more sales, so be it. What you've shown us certainly looks impressive and, even if it plays only as well as the current FF, it's still seems to be a step forward.

So, sounds like you are reaching the playtesting phase, where you might want to bring in some long-time players to try out the game before general release, hmm? :wink:

Very nice tank detailing, btw!
