HQ Distance

Post by TheKangaroo » Fri Aug 19, 2005 3:26 pm

Does it have any effect on troops' morale or movement if I move my HQ closer to them? I mean not only the radio contact improving but also some kind of an extra bonus when the Lieutenant is close? If not I would like to suggest that for a future version.
In my opinion the squad really should get afoot a little easier when their Lt is right next to them since he yelling an order right into their ears would be a little more difficult to overhear or ignore than just a voice on the radio.
Concerning gameplay it would not only make it easier to move one or two squads a little faster but also would give the player some reason to put his HQ up front. Then we kind of could decide to be a "daredevil commander".
What are your opinions on that?

Good thoughts that and at the moment there is no morale bonus for the commander being closer.
