Height values

Post by Quitch » Mon Sep 05, 2005 11:16 pm

Obviously the game is storing the height of terrain in some capacity. Rather than trying to guess from a 2D view (we all know how hard this is) could the game display the height of the terrain the mouse is over in, say, the top right corner? It'd make it MUCH easier to pick out locations to move troops to, you'd no longer find that commanding hill is blocked by what appeared to be a tiny mole hill in front of it.

I have to agree on that.
My thanks and best regards to all my former submitters.

OK, I've added that feature. Take a look at:

for the latest screenshot which shows you the object that the mouse is over and the height (you can't see the mouse of course as it's a screen grab but it was hovering over the hill at the botttom of the screen).
