We seriously need mods....
Now with that guy posting porn on our brilliant fourm, I think we really need moderaters to make sure this kinda stuff doesn't happen.

I think Sean probably didn't hire mods because people might not be trustworthy... but it's true, Sean is very busy and this is like the 3rd computer member in a few months. Maybe some more active members becoming mods?

The spam postings are a real pain but I think I'm on top of them for now. Spammers have to do the visual confirmation test where you re-type squiggly letters that are drawn on the screen and confirm an email that is sent to them before they can post. Then all I have to do is click a button and they are gone.
There's a new version of phpBB coming out soon too and hopefully there will be better spam protection in that too as I've seen a lot of other phpBB message boards that are swamped by spam.
