Game Suggestion: Settlers of Catan

Post by Guest » Sat Oct 22, 2005 8:28 pm

I think the AI and gameplay in Slay and Conquest would be perfect for the adaptation of Settlers of Catan. I desperately want a version for Pocket PC, but Windows would be great too.

The official licensed game currently on MSN and Yahoo is slow and a graphics hog. The Risk and Stratego clones are awesome, simple and sweet. A Settlers clone could be in a like manner.

Sean, help me out! I'd glady lay a deposit down. Better yet, I'll beta test for ya!

I second this. I just got a dos game for it, but it lacks the easy feel of your windows games, and most of all a save function. This is a classic game, one of the most fun and interesting board games ever invented. You should consider this idea.

The game is German to begin with so it would be easy to translate into German.

I don't know what game exactly you are talking about, but if it is another game... the more the merrier!
My thanks and best regards to all my former submitters.

Heh. I saw an advert for Slay on the Settlers of Catan page.
Strange ironic isn't it.
Not really.
