What it does is draw 6 points in relation to each other, then draws a polygon connecting them all. Then repeat that for each hex.

Just a suggestion, instead of drawing the hexes manually, just place a bitmap image that has the hexagon drawn on it, with transparent pixels (obviously).

That way if the game starts to take off you can get an artist to draw you some nice hexagons etc and just plug em in as a new bitmap. Likewise the same code can draw your men and buildings etc.

A little taster of the game I'm working on just now ...

From the 'choose your world' screen, which is the only bit of graphics that actually works properly so far! It is going to be an online multiplayer strategy game, eventually.

Thanks guys :). It's coming along, hopefully it will be ready for public beta around Easter or before, as it's kind of hard to test this sort of thing without any players ...

I'm working on the mechanics of moving around the map and settling the land at the minute.

No, C's too hard for me  . I did learn the basics of C, a long time ago, but then I found I liked Delphi much more, and nowadays I write in C#.

Is the sintax of C# different from that of C, or what are the differences?

I myself have never heard of C# until recently. What is the difference?
