Samsung i730

Hey Sean...horribly addicting game...shame on you for inventing it. I find I cannot do with just having it on my PC, I must have it on my Samsung i730...problem is I can download the exe file to the phone, but cannot run it as it says the file is not compatible. Any idea if Slay will not work on this phone or are there other steps I must take? Your help is appreciated, my addiction thanks you.

Is it a Windows mobile phone? Can you unzip files on it or run .cab files maybe? I could make a version like that.

Yes, it is a Windows mobile phone (I'm in the US). I've not tried to download anything to the phone before, so I don't know if a zip file will work or not since winzip is not on the phone. I don't know how cab files work...I would have thought the executable file would have been fine but the actual error I get is that it's "not a valid Pocket PC application".

I'll give either one a try, so thanks for your help.

Yes, the .exe file won't work as it's a Windows executable file. It's meant to be run on your Windows computer while your Pocket PC / Smartphone is connected and it will do the installation for you. I'm not sure how it will work on new Smartphones though (I've only got a Pocket PC myself). Can you connect it to your PC with a USB cable?

Not yet, but I will be able to soon...Are you saying once I can do that I can run the exe file on the lap top & then move the files over to the phone?

It may well work. I think a Smartphone is basically just a Pocket PC so when you run the .exe file on the Windows computer it hopefully will put the game on your phone. You might need to install ActiveSync on your Windows PC though.
