port to nds

hy sean

i love slay and conquest.

i have to drive by train to work and i always play with my nintendo ds.
so i asked myself one day, if it's maybe possible to port those games to nds.

Can you compile the files for nds?

Unfortunately the underlying operating systems are completely different so there's no simple way of porting the game over.

in which language you wrote those games?

wolfenstein 3d and doom are also ported to nds, the os is not so important.

Yes, slay for Nintendo DS, - that would be nice!

If slay is written in C or C++ a port should be very simple. NDS has a ARM-9 with 66MHz. There is a free toolkit (devkitpro) based on gcc.

For graphic and sound a SDL lib port exists, so it isn't nessecary to know anything about hardware. Filesystem is C like by devkitpro libfat (fopen(), fread() ...).
