Help with Qilk?

I'm finding the island of Qilk a bit tricky.

I can start off fine, get the east side safe and producing a knight to start taking on the dark greens but the battle on the south west with the yellows is proving harder.

I can get to a point where the yellows are removed from my little segment, but then I find the greens invade. Alternatively, I take on the greens and the yellow returns to attack.

Any pointers?

Western side, 2 territories, do the unexpected, the stupidest, most ignorant move imaginable on the west is the key to winning. Eastern side, build in to a small but successful territory. With time, you can beat it in 18 days with no surrender.

Edit: I just managed a 16 day solution to Qilk. It is probably the best possible solution for this island. I had men plus credits totaling 14 more men that could still move. Again, the key is to do something ridiculous in the west on the first move.
