Maybe you should try playing network games against humans. Its very different compared to playing the AI!

yeah, specially if he played against the very stupid AI, or he spent an hour or so manipulatind the picture.

Had him bottled up there by one of my knights for the whole game while I finished off the rest of the map. Then I went in and took one hex at a time, letting him spend all his savings.
