Feature request: Highlight the territories being attacked

Post by nwflyboy » Tue Jan 23, 2007 2:46 am

Especially when playing multiple computer opponents (and especially on larger maps), it's not always obvious which territory is attacking which (even when it *is* on the screen  ).

How about "highlighting" the territory being attacked (and maybe the territory the attack is coming from) by briefly flashing its outline as the attack begins?

The program obviously understands the outline of a territory - it fills this outline with color to show which player owns it. Would it be terribly difficult to draw the border of the territory in red (or some other contrasty color), and/or outline it with an extra thick line, maybe flashing on/off? That would certainly help draw the player's attention to where the action is...

Thanks for considering this.

OK, I'll look into that.

I sense the possibility of elliptic fits from such a modification
