I want to buy the games NOW !!!..... But....

Here's my dilemma...
I'm at work, connected to the internet via my cheap laptop. I want to buy the game now (full version/all games), online, and load it into my laptop...(Slow day at work
) I'd also like to play it at home after I leave work.
Must I buy the game twice ???
My CD drive in this laptop is toast, so I have no way to copy it or burn a CD.
Can I log on from my home PC and download it again ???
Can I email it to myself ???
I dunno ?
Any advice is appreciated... I have a credit card ready, in hand.
Thanks in advance !!!

I believe once you own it, you own it. I have one copy that I have installed at home and my gf's. You just can't use the same copy to play network games.

I just bought the $40 download, and have the link in my email... I'll just open my mail when I get home and will be good to go....

Sean doesn't make his position on this clear.
Some vendors only sell the game for installation on a single machine, some permit many machines but only in use by one person.
From a moral standpoint I don't see a problem as long as you are sure that no two instances of the game may be being played at the same time by two separate people (in which case you should buy two copies). So provided there isn't someone at home playing the games while you are playing them in work you should be OK.
However this leads to people 'time sharing' the games (You play Slay on odd days, I play CM on odd days and we swap on even ones) which I think is defeating the spirit of such an agreement. It's all a bit of a grey area.

I agree, I don't share my copy with anyone and my gf doesn't play it on her comp so it's all gravy

I'm happy for customers to install my games to any of their own computers if it's for their own personal use, so I'd be quite happy for you to put the games on a work, home and laptop computer. But please don't give them away to other people!

Thanks for the clarification about being able to install the games on multiple computers all owned by the purcharser.
The grey area arrives when the mahcine that has the games installed on it can be used by more than one person.
This is OK right? If my family can also play the games I bought.
The problem arrises when one of my family members might be playing a game on our home machine while I am playing the same game on a work machine (or a laptop). In that instance I believe I should have purchased two copies.

I'm pretty laid back about usage if it's sensible and fair. What you've outlined Boxzone doesn't bother me, it's only when people start making copies and giving them out to their friends that I'd feel I was being cheated.

Basically, if you are honest and care enough to ask if it's okay, it probably is, it's the ones who never registered on the forum and then distributed it on their network that are ripping Sean off.

Sean O'Connor... You need to buy two copies if you want to put it on two different computers! That's the same for Windows, Word, Excel or any other commercial program. What makes you think that you should be able to put my game on as many computers as you want? - that's just stealing!
2 different computers need 2 different copies you stated
I will probably get flamed now for stating that but never mind
