"Super" Components?

"Super" Components?

Since we have Super shields, why not other "super" equipment?

Super Stealth: More bang for your buck. But, should be very expensive because it's really cheap.

Super Radar: For "Super" scouts! (Pun intended, but lame)

Super Missile Launcher: 2 missiles a turn! Costs a lot and/or weighs more.

Super Engine: More thrust/maneuver, but more expensive and/or heavy.

Super Repair: More chance of repair, but more expensive and/or heavy.

Super Command Center??: Harder to destroy but costs and/or weighs more? This one is iffy.

Wow, I used "and/or" 4 times...

While I'm on this subject, how about "Super" missiles that are better but more expensive and/or heavy to put on your ship? (There goes that "and/or" again...)

I've certinly given thought to 'better' missiles but at a greatly increased cost.
Do you want to arm your ship with the best at the (great) expense of your wingmen?
Perhaps?
But not an obvious choice all the time.

My thoughts exactly. Also, it would provide more strategy to the game because you might neglect, say, maneuver and repair to give yourself good missiles and super launchers. Also, if someone has an awesome commander, it provides more incentive to play them so you can upgrade all your stuff to "super" versions of the same.
