Okay, my thread got lost and confused(not unheard of), so I'll start another one.
This idea isn't as well thought out or profoundly inspired, and it may have been suggested elsewhere...
This missile should have some way of staying invisible until it is almost too late, as long as it has fuel remaining. Once the fuel depletes, it should be just like any other light missile. Since it is stealth, it should not be a very powerful warhead.

How light a warhead? It would have to be pretty much the lightest one, especially if it tracked. Otherwise, you just build yourself a ship with only those and blast things into oblivion before they know what's going on.

A stealth missile would have to be like a daycorn or something if it tracked, just to keep it fair. I wouldn't mind a stealth version of the plectron, though: Same as plectrons, but has stealth capabilities and maybe less thrust or something.

It would definitely have to have a smaller warhead. Otherwise, you bombard the enemy with powerful stealth missiles. Plectrons are already good enough as it is.

It would probably be the lightest, and have a very limited fuel load.

If we're discussing new missiles, I would really like a direction and speed arrow on missiles. They'd help with avoiding Plecs.

If missiles had vector arrows, they'd have to be either differently-colored, or hooked to an on/off toggle switch. Missile arrows plus ship arrows on the screen could get mighty confusing. Perhaps the player could simply hold down a hotkey that would make the missile arrows appear, then go away when the key is released.

Show the vector when the mouse is over it, or the missile is selected, maybe.
