maybe a blue shield that has a 20% chance to repair itself
it would be cool for cargo and/or passengers to do something, like be a place for ships to dock or something

So we could have shuttle missions where you have to take politicians or something from one base to a research station or something without taking damage to the passenger area...

Speaking of which, I always liked the "wave" skirmishes in Mechwarrior 3, where you would be able to see how long you can survive against ever increasing challenges.

Nah, waves are not that cool; once you're out of missiles, that's it.

I think someone already said these, but I'll say it anyway.

1. Docking in Missile Factories to reload

2. Docking in Ship factories to repair

3. (In accordance with number 2) add armor

4. Allow for at least a beam weapon that is weak, but allows someone to keep fighting even if their missile run out.

5. An alternative to number 2, let Ship factories build one drone classed ship every five turns or something.

F. Shield Regeneration devices, Special Skills, and a larger medal count (maybe put it in numbers or something)

That being said, I also know how much time is taken to build a game such as this, and these are only suggestions (Special Skills are an idea from Banpresto's Super Robot Wars; awesome game)
I live, I fight, I survive, It's all good.

Any word on when the next version of CM is coming out?
I am a Ranger.

I do not break away from combat.
I stand on the bridge, and no one may pass.
I do not retreat, whatever the reason.

control all wingmen. You could OWN with like...five ultra drones and an ultra watcher. freaking poonage.
I poop, therefore I am.

How about Repair Bots also repair missles? ("replicating" all necessary components, like food, if the pilot becomes stranded, etc.) Certainly RepBots are better for missions, which don't involve a ship factory....

Nah, armor would cost must more in weight than shields (or _should_)!!

That's a thought. Make it run from the engine turbines, though, so that if no engines, then you have to preserve your missiles (and so that enemies also run out). Perhaps takes two spaces, instead of one?

I would LOVE to see the ability to create our own civilians. Wouldn't it be cool to design an outpost or something and then put it in a custom mission to defend it or attack it? Or how about creating your own ship/vehicle that, when you entered YOUR base, would slowly come over to you and when in contact, start to repair your shields, etc. I mean, that would open so many new possibilities to the game :o . Instead of just war tactics, there would be many other strategies to consider!
My thanks and best regards to all my former submitters.
