Plus: can I save and load after I died so I don't have to restart?

like an options menu. like difficulty, maximum missle amount, maximum component amount, (some have to be edited in the custom ships page.
just so we can have freedom with the game for buying it from you.

I Agree.

First, I need a difficulty changing because my tech. level is too low......

Second, I often dead in some mission. I need a continue or retry option.

I hope these function will be added in new version.
I form China, so my English is poor......

What Can I Do?

Sean has gone to quite a lot of trouble to stop you being raised from the dead he (correctly) believes that if there is no risk involved (because you won't actually 'die') then there is less skill involved. There is no question about taking the high risk/ high reward action because there is no downside if you lose if you can just reanimate and all it takes to get a 200+ mission commander is lots of time rather than actual skill.

When you are dead, you are dead. Start a new commander.

If you die too often, take a more defensive ship (more command points and shields, fewer missile launchers and missiles, you won't kill as many enemies and you will fail more missions but you will live longer).

Not really.
If you pilot the ship I have you will never die. I even went through a mission I had that included a VERY COMPACTED DENSE defense area. At least 6 things with turrets in that area. And I fly through there and don't die. I came close one time, but I don't die. I did die when I had 2 turns to go on my hyperspace but I didn't think about ejecting. I was killed by the last enemy that was around and my side had more than 15 fighters left and surrounded him. I couldn't believe he got me just before I hyperspaced and just before he died. That is total crap. I had a total of 1280 credits available. And is my top score of three-hundred-something kills. Something=more than 60 but less than 90.

Quorad,

You started this thread saying you wanted to save because you die too often, then you reply saying you don't die because your ship is too good.

Make your mind up! :?

I just died, but I was only on my 20th successful mission as a commodore, so I will wear off the anger within the day.

Yeah; I think I'm getting worse. I keep dying around mission 10. Maybe i'm getting too cocky. :(

to die or not to die

sean has it just right, if it was just a question of restarting to survive a level the game would have to rely on graphics and tactical gameply alone. the inevitable death we all suffer even with three or four hundred on the board is a bitter pill, but a necc. one.
