ummm sean hi im a CM player (VRY ACTIVE) and then i lookked at the MOAB screenshot! ive played this before! but GET THIS. you know u said that the newest version added "patrol" order? well my game came from a VERY old CICA cd (CICA is a general mishmash of free games, utilites, distractions, and so on on 1 or 2 cds), and that copy had the patrol command. whats odd is, the cd was produced in like 1998, yet "patrol" wasnt around till 2003! how can that be?

Well, I remember there used to be a couple of other games around which were pretty similar to Moab. Maybe that's the solution?

So Mr. Sean.
Do you think that you might be doing any more work on this project in the future? or is it pretty much done for?

I still play the game, but would renew my interest in it if I had a map builder and a few new units to play with.

I still think that if you allow people to turn certain units or features on or off, It would allow those who are really good at the game to stack the deck against themselves to make it more challenging for them. Additionally, for those that have trouble beating the computer, they could stack the deck in their favor by using the per player options.

EDIT MAPS!! That would be great! You could make lakes where boats would be useless! I love this idea!

Slay, MOAB are my two favorites.

I have thought about adding a map designer but wouldn't most of the fun be taken out of the game if you knew what the world looked like before starting the game?

The game does need an update though and I think the big improvements would be networking and better graphics.

I'll have a think about new units too.

It would be great fun to create maps based loosely on real world scenarios, or just make them up. I'd think a continental Europe-Africa-Asia map would be fun. So would a North American map. Depends how much utility the map editor would give.
