I love the aircraft carrier! Its great, it provides a mobile fuel pad for fighters, extending their range and effectiveness greatly! A carrier with 6 fighters can utterly bombard inland cities. Its greatest asset is that it can often get within 4 squares of an inland city, doubling the fighters power as they can refuel and attack in one turn.

And its one weakness, subs? No problem, its carrying aircraft after all and can move full distance away from the sub and still launch all aircraft to attack! Plus it can hold its own agaisnt destroyers and battle ships, while striking them with aircraft too!

Of course its expensive for it and the fighters.

I do like the battleship as well, just because it annihilates everything

Gotta be fighters for me. One moment you're pounding one enemy and then a couple of turns later you can be the other side of the world pounding someone else.

Often times a well placed bomber can turn the tide of a battle. I managed to sink two Battleships, a sub, and a destroyer with one, leaving the area clear to be dominated by my fleet.

Haven't played MOAB for ages, I cant get "better", well, it was one of the planes

No need to say the first turns of a game are crucial, is it :!: ? One has to rapidly locate and capture as many cities as possible for more cities mean more units producted, of which units expansion, development and therefore attack/defense will all depend. Actually the whole game is often nearly won or lost right from the start depending on how many cities you have been able to capture before your ennemies are too well developped. This is why I would say paras for they are the one units for you to begin your game: they need only 6 days to build, you can build them anywhere and they get 8 movement points each day when they can find out new neutral cities and occupy them for you at the same time (fighter or destroyer reconnoitring + transport loading/being under way with only 4 movement points + armies unloading/marching with only 1 movement point is all much too slow)? just when your ennemies don?t yet have so many fighters to shoot them down! :!: Most useful.

I'm not very good at the game, but I really like battleships. They destroy most things. I just build them, have fun and lose quickly. :?

Bombers are great. They are really the only way to take out cities with lots of units in them, especially landlocked ones. If not you have to use fighters which arent as good because they have to refuel, or use paras and transported armies, which can get annying. With a bomber, its done in one big hit. Awesome. Of course they are also very effecti The only problem is that you have to make sure your bomber doesn't run into a fighter on the way.

Bombers seemed to be overpowered if you can sneak up on enemy bases, I once took an entire enemy out just by bombing his cities. lol, are they nuclear or something? Cuz they have the potential of wiping out 25 cities (if you allow cities to be placed next to cities). Pretty big blast radius.
