Turnovers

Does anyone else find the turnover rate annoying as hell? My AI dinos passed directly to the opposition no less than 6 times during a div 1 game and this sort of thing isn't uncommon, even when I am wide open and could receive the ball easily. How can you win when this happens?

You can't. Except when your opponents cause more turnovers than your own team.

If it happens often then you're doing something wrong.

I admit most turnovers are caused by myself... anyway altering your formation could help you.

It's not that you're necessarily doing something wrong, it's just that you haven't twigged how the AI makes passes. Once you do that you'll figure where the right places to stand are.

I think they always pass to where your team members are going to be, without taking into effect where the other team's members are going to be. If the other team's dino is closer, it moves to get it and your own dino abandons it, giving the impression that it was thrown to the other dino.

Frustrating? Yes. But that's what you get for playing football with dinosaurs. :)
