Circle and guard?

Post by Empty Hat » Fri Apr 18, 2008 6:54 am

I just noticed that if you order your squad to circle and go of hunting the enemy on your own that they will come and join in when you launch an attack. How do people feel about this?

I left them circling so that they could defend our base so it was a little unwelcome.

That's why I usually hit avoid contact immediately after I find the first ship. However, I've had the problem of some of my wingmen flying off the map when the 'deadly question mark' approaches their position. I think a guard feature would be quite beneficial where the wingmen would not fly out of the area that you have designated to be guarded and only engage enemy ships that enter the designated guard area.
