Capture The Flag really has a chance to be a beautiful game - the graphics are very good, but I feel as if it's not quite to the level of the old Capture The Flag DOS game I once played as a kid. Here are some improvements which would be nice to have:
- Zoom in/out feature
- Map creation: fill feature
- Map creation: It doesn't work quite like a program like, say, Microsoft Paint, and this is frustrating. For instance, when you place a crop, I think you have to erase and then draw on top of it - this could be a feature, but there are times when it would be more convenient to just draw on top of it.
- Manual flag placement on startup
- Manual man placement on startup
- Ability to duck behind objects (costs movement points, effectiveness varies by terrain)

The reason I don't let the men duck (or crawl) is that I just don't have the graphics for that! All the men graphics come from this excellent site:

Graphics are not my strong point so I just use what I can get hold of.

If I had the graphics it wouldn't take too much work for me to add extra features on. But don't underestimate how tricky it is to do those sorts of 3Dish graphics. For a crawling man you'd need to do them in 8 different directions and have maybe 8 frames of animation for each direction. Reiner Prokein used a modelling program to create those images so you'd need to be experienced in using something like that.

Re: Capture The Flag Wish List
First of all, just love this game. The classic game Capture the Flag has never been as awesome. The game where you capture your opponent's flag is now played in the dark with glowing orbs and other game elements. Thanks Statto for the valuable information about new updates and features.
