Need help with network games

Post by domination69 » Sun Feb 27, 2005 4:10 am

No one can connect to my network games it says firewall is blocking it. I have a D-Link router, and I dont have a firewall. I'm aware that routers usually act as firewalls, so can anyone help me out?

Are you definietly telling people your real IP address and not just your internal one behind the router? Look at:

if you have a router you will need to give the other players your public ip and configure the router to forward port 4875 to your computer (you will need to know your ip on your private network for this.)
