THEMES!!!

Post by Fighter_Ace » Mon Sep 27, 2004 1:50 am

Could someone run me through the "how to" on making slay themes? I would REALLY love to make one but don't really know how. Like how do you pick the desired colors for all the different team's hexagons?!?
My thanks and best regards to all my former submitters.

i might be wrong but i dont think you control the colors
what you do is make new icons for the men, trees, castles
if i understand it correctly...

go to the theme section and download a file and look at what they did...
i'm pertty sure its just the icons..
if you run..you'll only die tired

The best thing to do is to make a copy of the file Medieval.skn which is in the "themes" folder and take a look at it (it's just a text file so you can use Notepad to edit it).

It has lines in it which tells the game where the .bmp graphics (you can use Paintbrush to edit this file) and .wav sound files are for this theme. The last 6 lines give the RGB colour values for the hexagon colours used if the player selects the colour "theme default".
