How do you mod graphics

Post by jr101 » Fri Jan 07, 2011 3:44 am

I am wondering how you modify the graphics for texture, tanks, infantry and guns.

All of the graphics for the game are stored as .BMP files in the "Graphics" folder so you can use any paint program to modify them.

Sorry to bother you but I have 2 more questions. When you go to paint and enlarge the image it is less detailed and looks like a jumble of colors so how do you change colors of things and know what you are changing like if its the body feature? And do you have to go through and change the colors of every angle of the tank?

You should create or modify an image in paint (one view only!) and then drag the file into the rotate program to get multiple views for the game.

You can get the single view of the vehicle by cutting it out of the multiple views .bmp of the vehicle you are modding.
