Map Faults

Post by susndeca » Thu Sep 30, 2004 8:46 pm

Some maps have FAULTS in them I can't seem to fix.

Several maps have *STACK* faults. I've tried to increase the range between territories and used fewer territories to no avail.... I have a huge map of Texas I'd like to use. All 240 territories work for placing men but before the first player goes it causes a STACK FAULT.

How to solve a STACK FAULT?

Hi Susndeca,

There used to be a limit on the amount of territories you could use
per map (128) - I'm not sure if that's changed with the latest version
of Conquest or not.

You spoke of the Texas map having 240 territories, how about the
other maps you're having trouble with, how many territories do they
have ?

By the way, are you using the Map Editor program to design these
maps or writing out the .map file yourself ?

(EDIT) p.s. I just loaded and began playing a map (BattleStar Galactica)
with 144 territories on the newest version of Conquest (3.0a) with no
problems - I used to have problems with that map on an older version
of Conquest.

Good Luck,
