Missile speed bug

Sean,

Sorry if this is an old problem that has been fixed but in the version I have (can't find a version number but the copyright is 1995 - 2002) the missiles speed up on the odd occasion.

It normally happens when there is a lot of action going on and when I have fired off 3 or 4 missiles at once.

Has anyone reported anything similar before now?

Hopefully that bug is fixed now. Take a look at the beta of the new version 4.0 and give it a test and let me know if you ever spot it happening there:

Unfortunately, I've seen the "missile speedup bug" in the latest 4.x beta version. I did not see it until I was playing missions in the 40 to 50 range.

Please note that it is VERY difficult to reach Admiral rank in the latest version.
